Rob Newton Joins Sales Division at Fraser Yachts
Rob Arrives at Fraser Yachts With an Impressive Background Within the Yachting Industry

Fraser Yachts is delighted to announce the arrival of Rob Newton into the sales division, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Rob was born into the family that founded a yacht manufacturing company, best known for building the trawler yacht series named Grand Banks. After completing his studies in International Management at the California Polytechnic State University, Rob went into the family business building custom sailboats and sport fishers.

Wanting to focus his career on yacht sales, Rob took a job managing Emerald Yacht & Ships’ California office, becoming the number one sales brokers for all of their operations. Soon there after Merle Wood & Associates offered Rob the opportunity to relocate to South Florida, he accepted the offer in order to continue developing his career and work for one of the largest rapidly growing mega yacht sellers in the country.

Four years later, Rob became an entrepreneur within the industry, when he started his own company with long time friend Jurgen Koch. Their similar outlook and philosophies allowed them to join forces and create Koch, Newton & Partners. The company developed into one of the world’s top companies. In 2006 Merrill-Stevens acquired Koch, Newton & Partners, where Rob continued success as a senior broker.

Rob arrives at Fraser Yachts with an impressive background within the yachting industry.  Having owned his own company for several years has allowed Rob to acquire first hand knowledge about every aspect of the industry, an asset to his clients, most of whom are long-time repeat customers.
